For globalization of car seat textile business, we established Zhangjiagang Kolon Glotech, Inc in 2004. Located near the China’s representative economy city, Shanghai, Zhangjiagang Kolon Glotech, Inc is producing thread, car seat textile, textile for toy, and air bag fabric by applying domestic know-how on Southeast China’s logistics environment and excellent infrastructure. Currently, Zhangjiagang Kolon Glotech, Inc is localizing the production resources to secure price competitiveness and selling products to Korea, North America, and Europe.
In response to increasing demand for artificial leather sheet, we established new artificial leather plant in 2018 and the plant is serving as the forward base for producing foreign vehicle material production. Zhangjiagang Kolon Glotech, Inc established fair work environment based on the Kolon Group’s ethical management system and strengthened research and development features by cooperating with domestic R&D research centers for expanding business field in Chinese market. Zhangjiagang Kolon Glotech, Inc is also establishing base for independent survival in the Chinese market by attracting direct orders from global car makers.
